Medsim is an e-Learning platform provides an easy to use learning environment architected to assist medical education students in their primary years of medical education. The platform utilizes simulation aides to replicate clinical scenarios and will allow features such as deliberate practice and feedback for skills development, exposure to difficult to visualize procedures, protocols, case studies with the virtual patient cases. The system will allow the student to review the results and responses before making diagnostic clinical and management choices.

MedSim is a web-based system with stringent protection enforced through login ids and passwords. Interaction with each other is possible with the support of online forums and chat facility. Multiple evaluation modes are also an integral part of this system. Using these services, faculties can post tests, teaching support and give feedbacks and also chat with the student to solve their problems.
Student can assess themselves by taking the tests posted by the faculties, and chat with the faculties and others to efficiently solve their problems while sitting at home. The feedback emails and notification can be sent to the student for current notification and important notices will be posted. It is a secure, robust and scalable e-learning platform.
