Treadmill Test (TMT)

A stress test can be used to test for heart disease. The most commonly performed stress test is the exercise stress test like a treadmill test.TMT provides valuable information if the heart has sufficient blood and oxygen circulation during physical stress, which may not show on resting ECG. The test may also reveal important abnormalities of the heart rhythm and blood pressure (BP). User can observe the TMT output produced by simulated virtual activity.

Click on the “Take TMT” button to start the exercise.

The clock will start to cover all the five stages of the Treadmill test (total duration:15 mins).

After every 3 minutes the next stage is enabled and there by slope and speed of the machine increases, as defined in the protocol.

The stages covered by the patient is indicated by red and blue.

The current stage of the patient emphasizes on the screen by deep red colour.

User can select the lead to be plotted on the monitor from the drop down box. (All the leads will be plotted separately.)

The monitor displays the graph of the selected lead, the systolic/diastolic pressure.
