Light Touch

Sensory System is constituted by the peripheral nerves with their central pathways to the thalamus. Light touch, pain, heat, cold, and vibration sensations can be included in this group. Light touch (both posterior column and spinothalamic tracts) is usually tested with a wisp of cotton swab. The user can test the ability to feel the touch on the upper and lower extremity by dragging the cotton bud to desired positions of the virtual patient through the interactive virtual activity.
