CN XI- Trapezius

The Trapezius is one of the major muscles of the back and is responsible for moving, rotating, and stabilizing the scapula (shoulder blade) and extending the head at the neck. It supports the shoulders and limbs and rotation of the scapula necessary to raise the arms above shoulder level. The interactive virtual activity allows the user to test the trapezius muscle function by observing the patient’s response to the resistance applied on the shoulders.
