CN II - Visual Field

A visual field test is an eye examination that can detect dysfunction in central and peripheral vision which may be caused by various medical conditions such as glaucoma, stroke, brain tumours or other neurological deficits.

     Left homonymous hemianopsia

     Right homonymous hemianopsia

     Binasal hemianopsia.

     Left Superior quadrantanopia.

Procedure

     The system will display a patient and a doctor sitting by facing each other.

     A grid will appear in between them, showing the total visual field.

     Click on the grid to test the eye .

     Colored dots will appear, indicating the click.

     Green: The region is inside the visual field.

     Orange: Partially in the visual field.

     Red: Beyond the visual field.

 

     User can test the opposite eye by clicking on the toggle button, “Right Eye”/”Left Eye”.
