Auscultation - Bronchophony

Bronchophony is the abnormal transmission of sounds from the lungs or bronchi. This is a test to perform on the patient which may indicate that there is consolidation of the lungs. User can listen to the percussion sound by clicking on each marked spot through the simulated virtual activity and examine the respiratory system.

Procedure

     The system will display a patient’s posterior, right, left and anterior view of the chest portion with red spots.

     User can select the desired view.

     Click the red spots as per the direction shown.

     Listen the auscultation sounds as bronchophony normal “99” or bronchophony  abnormal “99”.
