Auscultation - Breath Sounds

Auscultation is the term for listening to the internal sounds of the body usually using a stethoscope. Voice assessment can provide important clues about respiratory abnormalities. User can listen to the percussion sound by clicking on each marked spot through the simulated virtual activity and examine the breath sounds.

Procedure

     The system will display a patient’s posterior, right, left and anterior view of the chest portion with points marked in red color.

     User can select the desired view.

     Click on the red spots in the direction of arrows shown.

     Listen the percussion sounds as Vesicular (normal), Bronchovesicular,Rhonchi or wheezes on each spot.
