Auscultation-Whispered Pectoriloquy

Whispered pectoriloquy refers to an increased loudness of whispering noted during auscultation with a stethoscope on the lung fields. It is elicited as for vocal fremitus but ask the patient to whisper "one, two, three". Through the simulated activity user can click on each spot as per the arrow directions and listen to the audio response played as  heard over the stethoscope and understand the auscultation.

Procedure

     The system will display a patient’s posterior, right, left and anterior view of the chest portion with points marked in red color.

     User can select the view by click on the desired view.

     Click the on each red spot as per the direction mentioned .

     Listen the auscultation sounds as Whispered pectoriloquy normal "1-2-3" or Whispered pectoriloquy abnormal "1-2-3".
